Luise – – – Seeking a long-term foster or permanent home Luise loves being with her humans. Generally, she gets along with other cats but makes it clear that she prefers to be the center of attention. She adores cuddling and is quite picky about her food, clearly showing what she likes. Luise has a special feature: part of her tongue is missing. Therefore, she can't eat everything (especially mushy foods). Currently, she prefers Felix pouches or finely chopped raw chicken. Due to her short tongue, she can't clean herself as well as normal. Therefore, she should be brushed daily, which she handles very well. Unfortunately, Luise has been diagnosed with tongue cancer. Currently, she is well managed with cortisone, receiving a depot injection from the vet approximately every 2 months. Luise is neutered and microchipped. Additionally, she has had dental work done while with us. We wish for Luise to find a place where she can be an only princess. For a long-term foster, we will continue to cover the veterinary costs and support with food. Luise – – – Dauerpflegestelle oder Endstelle gesuchtLuise liebt es bei ihren Menschen sein zu können. Prinzipiell kommt sie mit anderen Katzen klar, zeigt aber deutlich, dass sie es bevorzugt im Mittelpunkt zustehen. Sie liebt ihre Kuscheleinheiten und ist beim Essen sehr wählerisch. Da zeigt sie ganz deutlich was sie will. Luise hat eine Besonderheit: Ihr fehlt ein Teil ihrer Zunge. Daher kann sie nicht alles aufnehmen (insbesondere breiiges). Am liebsten isst sie aktuell Tütchen von Felix oder kleingeschnittenes rohes Hühnchenfleisch. Durch die kurze Zunge kann sie sich nicht so putzen wie normal. Daher sollte man sie täglich bürsten. Das macht sie auch super mit.Leider wurde bei Luise Zungenkrebs festgestellt. Aktuell ist sie mit Cortison gut eingestellt. Ca. 2x im Monat erhält sie beim Tierarzt ein Depot. Luise ist kastriert und gechipt. Außerdem hat sie bei uns eine Zahnsanierung erhalten.Wir wünschen uns für Luise einen Platz, wo sie Einzelprinzessin sein kann. Gerne tragen wir bei einer Dauerpflegestelle weiterhin die anfallenden Tierarztkosten und unterstützen beim Futter.
