Luke is a Border Collie who shows himself as a very affectionate and well-mannered dog. He is people-oriented and enjoys closeness and attention. In everyday life, he has good basic obedience and learns quickly – as shown by the many tricks he already masters. He especially enjoys long walks and demonstrates his typical work enthusiasm and intelligence. As is typical for a Border Collie, Luke has a high activity level and requires both physical and mental stimulation. Unfortunately, he shows food aggression. Therefore, he needs consistent management and ideally experienced owners who are willing to work with him. Er ist menschenbezogen und genießt Nähe und Aufmerksamkeit. Im Alltag verfügt er über einen guten Grundgehorsam und lernt schnell – das zeigen auch die vielen Tricks, die er bereits beherrscht. Besonders gerne arbeitet er beim Longieren und zeigt dabei seine typische Arbeitsfreude und Intelligenz. Wie es für einen Border Collie üblich ist, hat Luke ein hohes Aktivitätslevel und braucht sowohl körperliche als auch geistige Auslastung. Leider zeigt er eine Futteraggression . Deshalb benötigt er konsequentes Management und idealerweise erfahrene Halter:innen, die bereit sind, mit ihm daran zu arbeiten.
