Zachtaardige Luke kwam maar al te graag in opvang, op zoek naar een beter leven, goede voeding, zorgen en liefde. Want dat heeft kleine Luke erg gemist. Nog elke dag bloeit hij meer en meer open. Hoe beter hij zijn opvangpapa leert kennen, hoe gelukkiger en opener hij wordt. Hij krijgt graag, nee, heel erg graag streeltjes. Bij een aaisessie geeft hij je dan ook graag lieve duwtjes en kopjes terug. Het oppakken moet nog wat voorzichtig gebeuren, ook dat was hij niet gewoon en moet hij nog wat aan wennen. Lieve Luke is een speelse kat, zeker niet de wildste, maar hij pakt ook graag dat touwtje of loopt enthousiast achter dat balletje of muisje. Hij is rustig van aard en daarom zoekt hij ook vaak een warm en knus ligplekje op, waar hij zich kan terugtrekken om zijn slaapje te doen. Deze jongeman zoekt een thuisje bij personeel die hem rustig leert kennen en zo uiteindelijk gaat zien welke lieverd er onder zijn zachte vachtje schuilt.
