The LUKE arrived with its mother and siblings when the puppies had just been born. This small family was found on the street. The puppies were adopted about two months later, and the LUKE also found a family. However, three months after that, it was returned to the shelter because it behaved like a puppy and had not yet been educated. There were no complaints regarding aggression or lack of gentleness, just a young, energetic dog full of enthusiasm and a desire to play. The LUKE is a fantastic dog. Very gentle, extremely sociable and kind. It loves human company and gets along well with other dogs. It remains a big dog: it runs, jumps, plays, and enjoys life with all the energy of youth. It walks well on a leash and is accustomed to living indoors. The mother of the LUKE is still with us at the shelter. She is a cross between an Alentejo Mastiff, though of a smaller size, weighing around 30 kg. We do not know the father of the LUKE, but we hope it will be of a similar size to its mother. The LUKE deserves a family that understands that educating a dog is part of the responsibility of adoption and is willing to accompany it through this phase of its life. In return, it will have a loyal, affectionate, and loving companion to give. The LUKE will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

O Luke chegou até nós juntamente com a mãe e os irmãos, quando os cachorros tinham acabado de nascer. Esta pequena família foi encontrada na rua. Os cachorros foram adotados cerca de dois meses depois, e o Luke também encontrou uma família. No entanto, três meses depois, foi devolvido ao abrigo, por se comportar como um cachorro e ainda não ter sido educado. Nunca houve qualquer queixa relacionada com agressividade ou falta de delicadeza, apenas era um jovem cão cheio de energia, entusiasmo e com vontade de brincar. O Luke é um cão fantástico. Muito meigo, extremamente sociável e gentil. Adora a companhia das pessoas e dá-se muito bem com outros cães. Continua a ser um grande cachorro: corre, salta, brinca e aproveita a vida com toda a energia da juventude. Passeia bem à trela e está habituado a viver dentro de casa. A mãe do Luke continua connosco no abrigo. É cruzada de Rafeiro Alentejano, embora de porte mais pequeno, pesando cerca de 30 kg. Não conhecemos o pai do Luke, mas esperamos que venha a ter um tamanho semelhante ao da mãe. O Luke merece uma família que compreenda que educar um cachorro faz parte da responsabilidade da adoção e que esteja disposta a acompanhá-lo nesta fase da sua vida. Em troca, terá um companheiro leal, afetuoso e cheio de amor para dar. O Luke será entregue vacinado, desparasitado e com microchip.
