Luna – In foster – Midlands

English Bulldog · Female

Please welcome Luna !! Beautiful Luna has sadly been surrendered by her family due to personal circumstances. We completely understood the situation and were so grateful we could step in to help during such a difficult tie. We kindly ask that all comments remain positive and respectful. Luna was collected by her wonderful foster family, Chelsea and her mum Kerry, and is now settling into foster care in the Midlands. The girls collected her directly from her home and took a slow, gentle drive back. Understandably, Luna showed signs of stress during the journey, but Chelsea and Kerry handled everything perfectly and gave her all the patience and reassurance she needed. Since arriving, Luna has been given plenty of space and time to decompress, and she’s already doing incredibly well. Her lovely personality is beginning to shine through — just as her previous family spoke so fondly about. Luna is a 3-year-old unspayed girl who is happy, playful, and full of character. She will be visiting the vets this coming week for a full health check. We were also made aware of one little unique feature about Luna that some may find gross and others may find fascinating — she has a blocked hair duct that occasionally needs cleaning and squeezing. Just a reminder: Luna is currently in foster care and is not available for adoption at this time, so please do not submit applications as they will not be considered. For now, let’s all give Luna the warm welcome she deserves!! About Luna – In foster – Midlands

What life with Luna – In foster – Midlands looks like

Luna – In foster – Midlands is a adult english bulldog dog waiting at Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Luna – In foster – Midlands, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Luna – In foster – Midlands?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Luna – In foster – Midlands on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Luna – In foster – Midlands if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Luna – In foster – Midlands already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Luna – In foster – Midlands isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Luna – In foster – Midlands and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
