Als die Tochter unserer Tierschützerin an der Grenze zu Montenegro unterwegs war und wie so oft Straßenhunde fütterte, fiel ihr ein kleines Hundemädchen sofort ins Auge. Luna war schwach, ihr Bäuchlein war aufgebläht und sie wirkte erschöpft. Mitnehmen konnte sie sie an diesem Tag leider nicht – die Grenze ließ das nicht zu. Doch Luna ging ihr einfach nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Also fuhr sie am nächsten Tag noch einmal zurück. Und tatsächlich: Luna wartete noch immer genau dort. Als hätte sie gewusst, dass ihr Mensch noch einmal kommen würde. Heute ist von dem geschwächten Hundekind nichts mehr zu sehen. Die Probleme mit ihrer Hinterpfote sind dank einer gezielten Vitamin- und Kalziumtherapie vollständig ausgeheilt und Luna zeigt jeden Tag, was für ein wunderbarer Hund in ihr steckt. Sie ist einfach ein Sonnenschein auf vier Pfoten. Fröhlich, offen, verspielt und immer bereit für das nächste kleine Abenteuer. Luna liebt Menschen, versteht sich toll mit Kindern und anderen Hunden und verbreitet mit ihrer lebenslustigen Art überall gute Laune. Manchmal sprudelt ihre Freude sogar ein kleines bisschen über – aber genau das macht sie so herrlich unbeschwert und liebenswert. Als Jagdhund-Mischling bringt Luna natürlich auch Neugier, Bewegungsfreude und Entdeckergeist mit. Sie wünscht sich Menschen, die Lust haben, gemeinsam mit ihr die Welt zu erkunden, ihr liebevoll das Hunde-Einmaleins beizubringen und ihr endlich das Zuhause zu schenken, auf das sie so lange gewartet hat. Vielleicht war das Warten an der Grenze nur der Anfang ihrer Geschichte. Das schönste Kapitel fehlt nämlich noch.
