Luna

Mixed Breed · Male

Luna 🐶💛 Luna came to us very scared. She was afraid of people and the world around her... She couldn't walk on a leash, and when she felt threatened, she could scare people by showing her teeth. It was clear that not much good had happened to her in life... 💔 Today Luna is making great progress! ✨ She walks nicely on a leash and is getting better at interacting with people. She is still a bit mistrustful, but when she trusts someone, she can open up and show her wonderful, gentle nature. She is a very sensitive and shy female dog. She often approaches on her own and quietly asks for pets. 🥺💗 In the right home, she will surely blossom even more! 🆘️🏠 Luna gets along well with males, if there is already a male dog in the house, it will be necessary to introduce them. 🐕🐾 For Luna, we are looking for a calm and understanding home that will give her time, patience, and lots of love. In return, you will get an exceptional friend who will love you with all her heart! Luna is vaccinated and microchipped. She still needs spaying. Born in 2022. Could this be you who shows her what a real home is?

Często sama podchodzi i cichutko prosi o pieszczoty. 🏡💞 Kontakt w sprawie adopcji:Ola 533 564 074Klaudia 609 530 953

About Luna

What life with Luna looks like

Luna is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Radom in Radom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Luna, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Luna?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Radom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Luna on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Luna if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Radom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Luna already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Luna isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Radom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Luna and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
