Lupos is an absolutely wonderful German Shepherd. Friendly and open-minded, he explores the world. He is active and always eager to be in the middle of things. He loves spending time with his primary caregiver. Whether searching for treats in the woods or playing soccer in the garden, his joy is written all over his face. Additionally, he is a good swimmer. A trip to the beach wouldn’t be a problem for him. He doesn’t mind car rides and has already learned some basic commands. He responds well to his primary caregiver and if you work with him a little, he is a loyal companion that can go anywhere with you. Attending dog training classes would surely be fun for him and strengthen his bond with his people. However, this is not necessarily required for people who are already experienced with dogs. His leash manners still need some work. After settling in, Lupos can stay alone at home for a few hours and even understands home office work, behaving impeccably. He generally gets along well with dogs, although other male dogs might sometimes sway his opinion. Through his interactions with people, he sets clear boundaries and accepts a “no.” Unfortunately, he doesn’t get along well with cats. Lupos had to leave his home due to his owner’s serious illness. He is an intelligent and heartwarming German Shepherd looking for a loving home. Slightly more independent children can already be part of his new family. Lupos ist ein absolut toller Schäferhund. Freundlich und aufgeschlossen entdeckt er die Welt. Er ist aktiv und immer gerne mittendrin. Er liebt die gemeinsame Zeit mit seiner Bezugsperson. Ob Leckerlis im Wald suchen oder Fußball spielen im Garten, die Freude steht ihm ins Gesicht geschrieben. Darüber hinaus ist er ein guter Schwimmer. Einem Ausflug an den Badesee steht also nichts im Wege. Das Autofahren macht ihm keine Probleme und auch seine Grundkommandos hat er bereits gelernt. Er orientiert sich gut an seiner Bezugsperson und wenn man ein wenig mit ihm arbeitet, ist er ein treuer Begleiter, den man überall mit hinnehmen kann. Der Besuch einer Hundeschule würde ihm sicher Spaß machen und die Bindung zu seinen Menschen weiter stärken. Bei hundeerfahrenen Menschen ist dies aber nicht zwingend notwendig. An der Leinenführigkeit sollte noch etwas gearbeitet werden. Nach Eingewöhnung kann Lupos mal ein paar Stunden alleine zuhause bleiben und auch Homeoffice arbeitende Menschen kennt er und verhält sich vorbildlich. Auf Hunde geht er grundsätzlich freundlich zu, auch wenn bei anderen Rüden schon mal die Sympathie entscheiden kann. Durch seine Menschen lässt er sich hier aber gut Grenzen setzen und akzeptiert ein „Nein“. Mit Katzen funktioniert es leider nicht so gut. Lupos musste wegen schwerer Erkrankung seines Besitzers sein Zuhause verlassen. Er ist ein aufgeweckter und herzensguter Schäferhund, der ein liebesvolles Zuhause sucht.
