MABROUK Mâle castré Malinois Né le 25/04/2017 Mabrouk est un Malinois profondément attaché à l’humain, intelligent et toujours volontaire pour faire plaisir à sa personne de référence. Malgré un passé difficile marqué par la maltraitance, il reste un chien très proche de ceux en qui il a confiance. Il souffre aujourd’hui d’une importante arthrose d’une hanche, conséquence probable de son ancienne vie. Cela demande un quotidien adapté et de la douceur, même si cela ne l’empêche pas d’apprécier les promenades et les interactions avec ses humains. Mabrouk accepte les manipulations avec les personnes qu’il connaît bien, mais certaines précautions devront être prises lors des soins vétérinaires. Il porte très bien la muselière, qu’il connaît parfaitement. Sociable avec ses congénères mâles et femelles, il pourra éventuellement vivre avec d’autres chiens. Concernant les chats, cela restera à travailler selon les présentations. Mabrouk peut parfois se montrer réactif envers les inconnus, mais avec de l’anticipation, du calme et de la cohérence, cela se gère très bien. C’est un chien sensible et profondément loyal qui mérite enfin une vie stable et respectueuse. // Normal 0 21 false false false FR X-NONE X-NONE /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Tableau Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-priority:99; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin-top:0cm; mso-para-margin-right:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:8.0pt; mso-para-margin-left:0cm; line-height:107%; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:11.0pt; font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif; mso-ascii-font-family:Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family:Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi; mso-font-kerning:1.0pt; mso-ligatures:standardcontextual; mso-fareast-language:EN-US;} SNOW Mâle Stérilisé Croisé américain staffordshire (décatégorisé) Né le 28/05/21 Snow est actuellement en famille d’accueil depuis plusieurs mois, où il a déjà énormément progressé. Le travail mis en place porte ses fruits et Snow évolue chaque jour un peu plus positivement. Lorsqu’il est en confiance, Snow se montre calme, très affectueux et particulièrement proche de l’humain. Il reste toutefois sensible et peut encore se montrer méfiant dans certaines situations. Une fois adopté, il sera donc important de poursuivre le travail éducatif et comportemental déjà commencé afin de continuer à le faire évoluer sereinement. Avec de bonnes présentations, Snow peut vivre avec d’autres chiens. En revanche, les chats ainsi que les enfants en bas âge seront à éviter pour son équilibre. // Normal 0 21 false false false FR X-NONE X-NONE /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Tableau Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-priority:99; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin-top:0cm; mso-para-margin-right:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:8.0pt; mso-para-margin-left:0cm; line-height:107%; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:11.0pt; font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif; mso-ascii-font-family:Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family:Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi; mso-font-kerning:1.0pt; mso-ligatures:standardcontextual; mso-fareast-language:EN-US;}

About MABROUK

What life with MABROUK looks like

MABROUK is a senior staffordshire bull terrier dog waiting at SPA de Belfort – L in France.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting MABROUK, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about MABROUK?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SPA de Belfort – L handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw MABROUK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt MABROUK if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SPA de Belfort – L will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is MABROUK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if MABROUK isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SPA de Belfort – L early rather than rehoming privately; they know MABROUK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
