All my life so far, I’ve spent locked up in a kennel. I had no contact with the outside world—my world was just a few square meters. Then a change came—and I wasn’t ready for the fact that people could be kind. I was scared and tried to run away. But day by day, I started to gain trust. A foster home I ended up in helped me rebuild my faith in people’s good intentions. Here, under the care of my canine companions, I’m gaining confidence every single day. I’m learning new sounds, smells, and surroundings. Everything is new to me, and I want to make up for all the time I’ve missed. I sleep well at night—I feel safe in my kennel cage. I keep the house clean. I also get along well with cats. I’m looking for a guardian who’ll work with me and provide me with care. ** 🐾🐾🐾 The Volunteer Association of the Dog Shelter in Nowodworze Śląsk, Lower Silesia, Lesser Poland, and Mazovia—this is where we mainly handle adoptions. Całe moje dotychczasowe życie spędziłam zamknięta w kojcu. Nie miałam kontaktu ze światem zewnętrznym, moim światem było parę metrów kwadratowych. Nadeszła zmiana – nie byłam gotowa, na to, że człowiek może być dobry. Bałam się, próbowałam uciekać. Ale dzień po dniu nabierałam zaufania. W odbudowaniu wiary w dobre intencje człowieka pomógł mi dom tymczasowy, do którego trafiłam. Tutaj pod okiem moich psich towarzyszy codziennie nabieram pewności siebie.
