A group of timid cats, mother Carol, father Abraham and their kittens, lived near a hotel in Strizino. They were fed, but that was about all. Unfortunately, they practically roamed between cars, as the hotel was located between two very busy roads. Before we found out about this group, some of the cats had already been killed by cars. So there was no choice but to take the cats to safety with us. Maggie is one of the kittens from the family. She is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat, but unfortunately, when we caught her, she was almost six months old, and we missed the ideal time for socialization. Maggie will be the first one you see from the group. She always draws attention by hissing, showing she doesn't want to make friends. But her hostile behavior is just an act, she is not really that wild. She allows to be petted, she is still young, and she will surely get used to a loving home.

Skupina plachých koček, matka Carol, otec Abraham a jejich děti, žila poblíž hotelu ve Střižíně. Dostávali sice najíst, ale to bylo tak všechno. Bohužel prakticky lítali mezi auty, protože hotel byl mezi dvěmi velice rušnými silnicemi. Než jsme se o této skupince dozvěděli, nějkteré z koček už bohužel skončily pod koly aut. A tak nebylo na výběr, než kočky vzít k nám do bezpečí. Maggie je jedna z koťátek z rodiny. Je to krásná želvinově zabarvená kočička, bohužel ale když jsme je odchytávali, bylo jí už skoro půl roku a propásli jsme tím ideální čas na socializaci. Maggie je první, kterou ze skupiny uvidíte. Nechá na sebe vždy stáhnout pozornost zasyčením, dá najevo, že se kamarádit nechce. Ale její nepřátelské chování je jenom divadlo, ve skutečnosti až tak divoká není. Hladit se nechá, zatím je ještě ve věku, kdy si v milujícím domově určitě zvykne.
