Mago has been living at our refuge for years. He was once rescued by our foster mom Isabelleke. In the beginning he was so frightened that we didn't dare let him go for adoption. For years he lived in our office, and gradually he became more and more of a cuddler. Cats are certainly not his best friends, but he is sociable with all other dogs. In the mornings he happily waits by the gate and bares his teeth in a grin, as our daily warm welcome. He loves lying at your feet all through the workday and then comes over to get his cuddles. He likes being with people he knows, but at first he will do everything he can to escape, wanting to return to his familiar surroundings. Once he has gotten used to you, he will never leave you again, but that takes time and love. With us he even laughs with happiness! Who will give Mago a warm home, where he can be lovingly cared for and appreciated? This innocent little dog deserves it.

Mago verblijft al jaren in onze refugio. Hij werd ooit gered door onze opvangmama Isabelleke. In het begin was hij zo bang dat we hem niet durfden af te staan voor adoptie. Jarenlang heeft hij in ons kantoor gewoond en langzamerhand werd hij steeds meer een knuffelaar. Katten zijn zeker niet zijn beste vrienden, maar hij is sociaal met alle andere honden. 's Ochtends wacht hij vrolijk bij de poort en grijnst hij zijn tanden bloot, als ons dagelijkse warme welkom. Hij ligt de hele werkdag graag aan je voeten en komt dan zijn knuffel halen. Hij is graag bij mensen die hij kent, maar in het begin zal hij er alles aan doen om te ontsnappen, om terug te willen naar zijn vertrouwde omgeving. Als hij je eenmaal gewend is, zal hij je nooit meer verlaten, maar dat kost tijd en liefde. Bij ons lacht hij zelfs van geluk! Wie geeft Mago een warme thuishaven, waar hij lekker gekoesterd en gewaardeerd wordt ? Dit onschuldig hondje verdient het zo.
