Siren, Meiky, Magos, Zausel, Zaina, and Maliboo were named by our animal welfare workers:innen. Our local animal welfare workers:innen noticed the little family. They were living with an older man in his courtyard. He was not ready to give up the mother of the puppies – but he did give the puppies into our care. The mother was spayed at our expense and returned to her family. The sextet now lives in Fantanele, in a private shelter. Here, the conditions are not beautiful, and there are only outdoor runs. But they are safe and have the chance for a happy puppy life. The handsome Magos is about 3.5 months old and we estimate that he will grow to be medium-sized. He shows himself to be open, curious, and people-oriented on site. Age-appropriately, he is active and ready for any adventure. Overall, all six puppies are described as charming. Magos gets along well with other dogs, but has not yet had any contact with cats. Guardian or herding dog genes cannot be completely ruled out. Magos is looking for people who won't have too many expectations of him and will show him how a normal dog life works. He is still a baby and has a lot to learn. Sometimes, a little mishap shouldn't be held against him and Magos should always be guided with a positive training style. He is looking forward to his new life with nature walks, lots of snuggling hours, and also a visit to puppy school. In the first year of life, puppies should not be left alone as much as possible. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of the little rascals upside down. They "forget" often what they have learned so far and their ears are on full alert. Therefore, it is especially important in this phase to train consistently but lovingly. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! Magos is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. He brings his EU pet passport and can arrive – maybe at your place? Seine Geschichte: Und der nächste kunterbunter Wurf Welpen wartet auf ein Zuhause! Siren, Meiky, Magos, Zausel, Zaina und Maliboo wurden sie getauft. Unsere Tierschützer:innen vor Ort wurde auf die kleine Familie aufmerksam. Sie lebten bei einem älteren Herrn im Hof. Er war nicht bereit, die Mutter der Welpen abzugeben – aber die Welpen gab er in unsere Obhut. Die Mutter wurde auf unsere Kosten kastriert und kam zurück in ihre Familie. Das Sextett lebt nun in Fantanele, in einem privaten Shelter. Hier sind es keine schönen Bedingungen und es gibt nur Außenzwinger. Aber sie sind in Sicherheit und haben die Chance auf ein glückliches Hundeleben. Der hübsche Magos ist etwa 3,5 Monate alt und wir schätzen, dass er mal mittelgroß werden wird. Er zeigt sich vor Ort als aufgeschlossen, neugierig und menschenbezogen. Altersentsprechend ist er aktiv und bereit für jedes Abenteuer. Insgesamt werden uns alle sechs Welpen als bezaubernd beschrieben. Mit anderen Hunden verstehen Magos sich gut, mit Katzen hatten er noch keinen Kontakt. Hüte- oder Herdenschutzhundgene können nicht gänzlich ausgeschlossen werden. Magos sucht Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihm erwarten und ihm zeigen, wie ein normales Hundeleben funktioniert. Er ist noch ein Baby und muss noch viel lernen. Das ein oder andere Malheur sollte man ihm nicht übelnehmen und Magos stets mit einem positiv verstärkenden Erziehungsstil begleiten. Er freut sich schon auf sein neues Leben mit schönen Spaziergängen in der Natur, vielen Schmusestunden und auch auf einen Besuch in der Welpenschule. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten Welpen so wenig wie möglich alleine sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Auch diese Phase geht vorüber! Magos ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Er bringt seinen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in seine eigene Familie ziehen. Magos möchte ankommen – bei dir vielleicht?!
