The loyal and beautiful Mahkari is approximately 8.5 years old and has not had much luck in life so far. With her shoulder height of about 54 cm and weight of 25 kg, she is a medium-sized female dog in her prime – full of experience, love, and the desire to finally find a place. Her gentle, wise gaze immediately reveals how much she is oriented towards humans. Mahkari is friendly, calm, and affectionate – a female dog whose warm and patient nature wins hearts at first sight. She shows social and compatible behavior with other dogs. Whether she likes cats has not been tested yet. We had the opportunity to personally meet Mahkari in Romania – an encounter that deeply moved us. She currently lives on a chain, exposed to the elements without shelter. We wish more than anything that she gets the chance to travel to a loving home and experience security. Mahkari could be a herding dog mix and may exhibit rassetypic traits such as watchful or territorial behavior after an adjustment period. Therefore, she seeks people with a house and garden in a quiet environment who can give her structure, security, and affectionate guidance. Her soft, longer fur requires regular care – currently, it is severely tangled, which makes it particularly challenging for her in the summer. With a little affection and care, she will soon be the magnificent female dog she truly is. Probably, Mahkari has not yet experienced life in a house. She therefore needs some patience, time, and loving guidance to learn about house training, leash manners, and family life. With her gentle nature and intelligence, she will surely master these new challenges. Since Mahkari is spayed, she unfortunately cannot be rehomed to Switzerland. We wish for Mahkari a heartwarming home where she can finally find a place – with people who value her, give her trust, and show her how wonderful life can be. She will thank it with infinite loyalty and love. Mahkari travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She possesses an EU pet passport and can be rehomed after a positive. This dog will be rehomed together with the organization Arme Hundeseelen Rumänien. The double listing on both organizations' sides and possibly on advertising portals serves to increase her visibility and find her the right home faster. Mit ihren rund 54 cm Schulterhöhe und 25 kg ist sie eine mittelgroße Hündin im besten Alter – voller Erfahrung, Liebe und dem Wunsch, endlich anzukommen. Ihr sanfter, kluger Blick verrät sofort, wie sehr sie den Menschen zugewandt ist. Mahkari ist freundlich, ruhig und liebevoll – eine Hündin, die Herzen mit ihrer warmherzigen und geduldigen Art im Nu gewinnt. Mit anderen Hunden zeigt sie sich sozial und verträglich. Ob sie Katzen mag, konnte bislang nicht getestet werden. Wir durften Mahkari persönlich in Rumänien kennenlernen – eine Begegnung, die uns sehr berührt hat. Sie lebt derzeit an der Kette, Wind und Wetter schutzlos ausgeliefert. Umso mehr wünschen wir uns, dass sie bald die Chance bekommt, in ein liebevolles Zuhause zu reisen und endlich Geborgenheit zu erfahren. Mahkari könnte ein Herdenschutzhund-Mix sein und dementsprechend nach einer Eingewöhnungszeit rassetypische Eigenschaften zeigen, etwa ein wachsames oder territoriales Verhalten. Daher sucht sie Menschen mit Haus und Garten in ruhiger Umgebung, die ihr Struktur, Sicherheit und liebevolle Führung schenken. Ihr weiches, längeres Fell braucht regelmäßige Pflege – aktuell ist es stark verfilzt, was ihr besonders im Sommer zu schaffen macht. Mit etwas Zuwendung und Fürsorge wird aus ihr jedoch bald wieder die prachtvolle Hündin, die sie in Wahrheit ist. Wahrscheinlich kennt Mahkari das Leben im Haus noch nicht.
