Maia & Iris

Maia and Iris were two little kittens who were left in a plastic box in an alleyway to fend for themselves. They were very little when they arrived at the sanctuary and would always sleep in the plastic box which must have given them a sense of security. Fast forward several weeks and these two little terrors are ready to be adopted. Maia is the pure black kitten whilst Iris is a calico. Both of these girls are now round about 13 weeks old. These two have heaps of energy and when possible get up to all sorts of mischief. Their pen is constantly messy and they dont sit still for long. We would like to rehome Maia and Iris as a pair as they have been through so much together and are very bonded. When they have human company they scramble to be the first to be picked up for a cuddle, so dont be surprised if your knee and arms are constantly occupied. We are looking for a home where they can get all the attention they require which will probably be with a family with children. However if you are a couple or single person, please also apply as long as you are at home for a good part of the day as these two need lots of attention and play. When Iris and Maia are old enough they will require an outdoor safe green space to play in. This will be away from main/busy roads, hazards like railways and canals (please see our Adoption Policy for further details). Both kittens have been vet checked, flead, wormed, microchipped and vaccinated. They will be neutered when they are old enough at our vets which we will cover the cost of.
