The purebred Šarplaninka female is aware of her size, is completely at ease with herself, and shows no nervousness or intolerance towards others. She impresses with her good-natured, loyal character and gets used to new people surprisingly quickly. Maki loves children and behaves exemplary when dealing with them. Nevertheless, children in the household should already be older and more stable due to their weight and size. The gentle giant also shows herself from her best side in everyday life: She is completely house-trained and can be led on a leash. For her full happiness, she wishes for a home where her herd guardian genes can live out in controlled ways. A home with a large, sufficiently secured garden would be ideal for her. 🐾 Her story: Maki's past is marked by disappointment, but also by rescue: Her former owner moved to Germany and simply left the faithful dog behind.
