Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Age: Born around June 2023 vaccinated, microchipped, neutered: yes Arrived at the shelter since: November 2023 Character: friendly Departure date: 10.10.2025 Adoption by: Hoffnung für Fellpfötchen e.V. Background and character: Our Malaika was born around June 2023 and is approximately 50 cm tall. She lived on the streets until November 2023, but the dog catchers came to her neighborhood. Our team decided to bring the young female dog into our shelter and thus into safety. Malaika is a friendly young female dog, now searching for her home. Important information: When Malaika is found by her people, she is allowed to make the long journey into a new life. As she has barely known much so far, she needs to learn a lot. She will need the help of her people, who will explain her new world with patience and understanding. Note: Malaika may have a part of a herding dog in her! When Malaika has settled in, she will be happy to explore the new environment with her family. She will also surely have great fun playing together. But cuddle hours and lots of cuddles must not be lacking either. For the first time in her young life, Malaika will feel safe and secure. Our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas, and neutered before travel arrangements. Additionally, every dog is in possession of an EU Pet Passport. Furthermore, all dogs travel legally with Traces. The Traces monitor the entire pet traffic within the EU. Additionally, a rapid test for Mediterranean diseases is conducted before travel arrangements: Borreliosis, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Dirofilariosis, and leishmaniasis. Last update:

Letzte Aktualisierung:

Frequently asked

Adopting Malaika ca. 50 cm &#8211, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Malaika ca. 50 cm &#8211?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Little Souls handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Malaika ca. 50 cm &#8211 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Malaika ca. 50 cm &#8211 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Little Souls will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Malaika ca. 50 cm &#8211 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Malaika ca. 50 cm &#8211 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Little Souls early rather than rehoming privately; they know Malaika ca. 50 cm &#8211 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
