Maleo (currently around 30cm - still growing) The little Maleo was found in a Greek village in mid-June 2026, where he was wandering alone. As he was underweight and his fur was bald in some places, he was taken to our partner animal shelter in Greece for medical care. Unfortunately, we cannot say where the little guy originally comes from. Maleo shows himself as a playful and open-minded rascal, enjoying petting and exploring his environment. The little man loves receiving affectionate strokes and enjoys them very much. Every day he gathers new impressions and discovers the world step by step. However, the possibilities to discover new things are unfortunately very limited in the animal shelter. It is important to know that he is still in the middle of his development - his character, temperament and preferences will change further over the coming months. The current impression is a snapshot. How Maleo develops depends heavily on upbringing, experiences and environment. Therefore, his new family must bring a lot of understanding and not too high expectations. He does not yet know all the things of our everyday life when he leaves. We do not know the parents of Maleo. However, we make an unverbindable guess that he can grow to be medium to large (around 60 cm). Adopting a puppy means taking a lot of time. Please only apply if you really meet the requirements for a proper settling-in period and upbringing. We cannot confirm or rule out compatibility with cats.

Maleo (aktuell ca. 30cm – befindet sich um Wachstum) Der kleine Maleo wurde Mitte Juni 2026 in einem griechischen Dorf gefunden, wo er alleine unterwegs war. Da er untergewichtig und sein Fell an manchen Orten kahl war, wurde er in unserem Kooperationstierheim in Griechenland untergebracht und medizinisch versorgt. Woher der kleine Kerl ursprünglich kommt können wir leider nicht sagen. Maleo zeigt sich als aufgeschlossener Frechdachs, verspielt und offen für seine Umwelt. Streicheleinheiten liebt der kleine Mann schon sehr und genießt diese sehr. Jeden Tag sammelt er neue Eindrücke und entdeckt Schritt für Schritt die Welt. Die Möglichkeiten Neues zu entdecken sind im Tierheim aber leider nur sehr begrenzt. Dabei ist wichtig zu wissen, dass er sich mitten in seiner Entwicklung befindet – sein Charakter, sein Temperament und seine Vorlieben werden sich in den kommenden Monaten noch weiter verändern. Der jetzige Eindruck ist eine Momentaufnahme. Wie Maleo sich entwickelt, hängt stark von Erziehung, Erfahrungen und Umgebung ab. Deshalb muss seine neue Familie viel Verständnis und keine zu hohen Erwartungen mitbringen. Die Dinge unseres Alltags kennt er bei Ausreise alle noch nicht. Die Elterntiere von Maleo sind uns nicht bekannt. Wir geben aber eine unverbindliche Vermutung ab, dass er mittelgroß bis groß (ca. 60 cm) werden kann. Einen Welpen zu adoptieren bedeutet sich sehr viel Zeit zu nehmen. Bitte bewerbt euch nur dann, wenn ihr wirklich die Voraussetzungen für eine angemessene Eingewöhnungszeit und Erziehung erfüllen könnt.
