adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Malvin has found a home! His story: Malvin is a brave, still quite small fellow who was discovered and rescued together with his two siblings and mother on a cemetery. It is likely that the helpless family was simply abandoned to their fate. For Malvin, the young life offers 1000 adventures and new impressions. He runs around, sniffs, and challenges the people and animals around him to play. Apparently, he has not suffered any traumas and looks positively and playful into the future. Affection and action are currently particularly important. His owner(s) should bring the corresponding energy and time, when Malvin moves into his new and hopefully many home. The little rascal has to learn a lot and wants to be challenged. Extensive walks and agility units, but also hide-and-seek games can be exactly what he needs. We are very convinced that Malvin will quickly learn the puppy ABC, because he shows himself to be extremely clever and inquisitive. The upcoming puberty in a few months will probably throw Malvin and his new environment a bit off balance. Defiance or forgetfulness are then typical behaviors, but no panic: Puberty is a normal, but also important phase of development. It ensures that he grows up to be an adult and a reliable companion. Since Malvin likes other animals very much, a confident first dog has nothing to worry about. How he reacts to cats, we unfortunately cannot say at the moment. Can Malvin become a friend to your life? His suitcase is packed. The fluffy male dog with the white beard and the equally white patch would of course also be overjoyed with a foster home. This dog will be rehomed together with the organization Arme Hundeseelen Rumänien. The double posting on both organization sides and possibly on advertising portals serves to increase his visibility and thus find the right home for him faster. With the organization, there is a close exchange. Every request for the dog is directly discussed and passed on. Many thanks, Nadia. You have given the fluffy-warm Malvin a very nice name and thus an identity. As of: 05.04. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Malvin

What life with Malvin looks like

Malvin is a extra-large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Malvin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Malvin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Malvin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Malvin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Malvin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Malvin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Malvin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
