Mango- 2 Year Old Male

Mixed Breed Cat · Male

NO LONGER TAKING APPLICATIONS DUE TO HIGH VOLUME RECEIVED** Hello! I’m Mango, a gorgeous, confident boy who loves to make sure everyone knows I’m here! I’m a very chatty boy and I’m not shy about letting you know when I’d like some attention. I’m a big fan of people and one of my favourite things to do is weave and rub around your legs for fuss. I love being around my humans and I’m always happy to come over and say hello. 🥰 I came into Rain Rescue with my lovely friend Melon, who is much quieter and more reserved than me. She can be a little shy at first, whereas I’m much more confident and outgoing. We are quite the opposite pair, but we get along well, and my confidence can help her feel braver. Melon may be happiest as an only cat, but if you’re looking for a pair, we could potentially be adopted together. I’d love to have my special friend by my side, and I think we make a lovely little team. I’m looking for a loving home where I can get plenty of attention and be part of the family. I could be a happy indoor-only boy, or I could have some safe access to the outdoors once I’m fully settled and comfortable in my new home. If you’re looking for a confident, chatty boy who will happily rub around your legs and keep you company, I could be the perfect boy for you! ❤️ My adoption fee is £135 or £235 if adopted with Melon.

About Mango- 2 Year Old Male

What life with Mango- 2 Year Old Male looks like

Mango- 2 Year Old Male is a large adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mango- 2 Year Old Male, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mango- 2 Year Old Male?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mango- 2 Year Old Male on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mango- 2 Year Old Male if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Mango- 2 Year Old Male already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mango- 2 Year Old Male isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mango- 2 Year Old Male and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
