Do you remember Manny from Ice Age—the giant, kind-hearted mammoth who was always ready to go on adventures and look after his friends? Well, our Manny got his name precisely because of him. Unlike his movie namesake, he doesn’t have tusks or a trunk, but he certainly tries his best to match him in size. You simply can’t overlook those nearly 50 kilograms of fur, joy, and good cheer. When Manny starts running, it feels like a little earthquake is approaching. And when he smiles, even the last bit of ice far and wide seems to melt away. Manny is a young dog who loves life. He’s active, playful, cheerful, and always up for a good time. Whether it’s an outing, a game, a walk, or just lounging around by his human’s side, he always goes all-in. Although his size commands respect, he’s actually very easy to handle and obedient. He masters training without any trouble, handles grooming beautifully, and working with him is a real pleasure. Beneath that thick black mane lies an incredibly warm and gentle heart. But he does have one small flaw: his coat. Well... actually, it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s just that while Manny would love nothing more than to run around the world and enjoy life, his future human will have to regularly battle with brushes, combs, and sometimes even their own patience. The Briard genes simply can’t be denied, and without daily care, our mammoth would soon turn into one big tangled mess of fur. Manny will turn three years old this December; he’s vaccinated, microchipped, and treated against parasites. A condition of adoption is neutering after he’s acclimatized in his new home. If you’re looking for a buddy with a huge heart, a sense of fun, and an expression that reminds you of a perpetually smiling bear, Manny is waiting just for you. And we promise—unlike the mammoth from Ice Age—he’ll definitely not melt your home! Manny’s relationship with other dogs is manageable; barking dogs upset him, female dogs appeal to him, and he ignores small dogs altogether. His relationship with other animals hasn’t been tested yet. His bond with his people is utterly devoted. Manny is impeccably clean and well-behaved around his home environment. He’d be perfect for living in a house with occasional access to a garden, but he’d also adapt just as well to apartment living.
