Name: Manolo Breed: European domestic cat Gender: male, neutered Date of birth: approximately June 15, 2023 Approximate size: adult, medium-sized Location: Municipal Cat House under the care of the animal welfare association CanFlix & Ampare, Mora la Nova, Catalonia (Spain) Blood tests: FIV and FeLV negative (January 25, 2024) Manolo arrived at the municipal cat house together with his two brothers, Ozuna (also looking for a home on our website) and Brian (already adopted). In August 2023, at just two months old, they were found in a cardboard box in the trash in a town near the shelter. Initially, all three were quite fearful, but gradually they’ve opened up to cuddles and play—even if they may still seem a bit shy around strangers at first. Manolo has always been the funniest and most playful of the trio; he loves toys with feathers or mice. He was “lucky” enough to be placed with a foster family in Spain, but unfortunately, the family’s own cat didn’t accept him, so he had to return to the cat shelter. Being rejected like this hasn’t helped his well-being, and we all hope he can return as soon as possible to the warmth of a loving home—forever. Manolo currently lives with Ozuna and Yako. The three get along very well. He’s used to feline company and would therefore adapt well to a home with an existing cat or tomcat. Name: Manolo Rasse: europäische Hauskatze Geschlecht: männlich, kastriert Geburtsdatum: circa 15.06.2023 Ungefähre Größe: ausgewachsen, mittlere Größe Aufenthaltsort: Städtisches Katzenhaus unter der Obhut des Tierschutzvereins CanFlix & Ampare, Mora la Nova, Katalonien (Spanien) Blutanalysen: FIV und FelV negativ (25.1.2024) Manolo kam mit seinen beiden Brüdern Ozuna (sucht ebenfalls auf unserer Seite ein zu Hause) und Brian (bereits adoptiert) im städtischen Katzenhaus an. Sie wurden im August 2023 im Alter von zwei Monaten in einer Stadt in der Nähe des Tierheims in einem Karton im Müll gefunden. Zuerst waren sie alle ängstlich, aber nach und nach haben sie sich für Streicheleinheiten und Spiele geöffnet, auch wenn sie Fremden gegenüber zunächst vielleicht unsicherer wirken. Manolo war schon immer der Lustigste und Verspielteste von allen, er liebt Spielzeug mit Federn oder Mäusen. Er hatte „Glück“, bei einer Pflegefamilie in Spanien untergebracht zu werden, aber offenbar hat die Katze der Familie ihn nicht akzeptiert und er ist ins Katzenshelter zurückgekehrt. Das Gefühl, so zurückgewiesen zu werden, hat seinem Wohlbefinden nicht geholfen, und wir alle möchten, dass er so schnell wie möglich in die Wärme eines Zuhauses zurückkehren kann. Für immer. Manolo lebt zusammen mit Ozuna und Yako. Die drei verstehen sich sehr gut. Er ist die Gesellschaft von anderen Katzen gewohnt, könnte somit gut auch zu einer bereits vorhandenen Katze oder einem Kater vermittelt werden.
