Mapo and Jules are mother and son. They were left alone when their elderly female cat had to move to an assisted living facility. Mapo, short for "mommy cat," is a 10-year-old easygoing cat. Jules, her son, is one year younger. He was very close to his mom and has the most homesickness. The poor thing hides away and barely moves when we approach him while his mom willingly lets herself be petted. However, he is very good and even let himself be examined by a veterinarian. Like his mom, he doesn't hurt a fly. Jules used to sit on his mom's lap, and we hope that can happen again. The adopter should be aware that this will take a lot of time. Both are in good health. Mapo holds her head a bit askew, but it has been like that since birth. We would rather keep the duo together because they have lived under one roof for nine years. They used to go outside, but the last four years they've been indoors because they moved from their house to an apartment with their mom. Mapo en Jules zijn respectievelijk moeder en zoon. Ze kwamen er plots alleen voor te staan toen hun hoogbejaarde vrouwtje naar een woonzorgcentrum moest verhuizen. Mapo, afkorting van “mamapoes” is een makkelijke poes van 10 jaar oud. Jules is haar zoon en is één jaartje jonger. Hij was erg close met zijn vrouwtje en heeft dan ook het meeste heimwee. De arme stakker steekt zich weg en durft amper te bewegen als we hem benaderen terwijl zijn mama zich gewillig laat aaien. Nochtans is hij heel braaf en liet hij zich zelfs door de dierenarts onderzoeken. Net als zijn mama doet hij geen vlieg kwaad. Jules lag ooit bij zijn vrouwtje op schoot en we hopen dat dit terug mag komen. De adoptant zal zich echter bewust moeten zijn van het feit dat dit heel wat tijd zal vragen. Beiden zijn in goede gezondheid. Mapo houdt haar hoofdje een beetje scheef maar dat is sinds de geboorte zo. Het liefst van al houden we dit duo samen want uiteindelijk leven ze al negen jaar onder één dak. Ze waren gewend om ook buiten te gaan maar de laatste vier jaren leefden ze al binnen doordat ze met hun vrouwtje verhuisd waren van het huis naar een appartement.
