Manni külas was quite difficult to miss this group. Two female cats and six kittens following them formed a decent cat caravan. When the villagers started to worry more about the little ones, all six sons finally arrived at the shelter with their mother and grandmother. One of these sons was Marcel, and it quickly became clear within the shelter's walls that Marcel had no intention of staying away from any exciting activity. He is always there where something is happening. He jumps after a closed door with great enthusiasm and runs around with his siblings until the playfulness runs out. However, when a person has a free moment, Marcel is immediately there, climbs into your lap, and waits for his affection, which he responds to with loud purring. If the affection comes too slowly, Marcel gives a signal with his paw: "Hello, I came here with a definite purpose!" As brave and energetic as Marcel appears in the shelter, he is not always confident in every situation. When he ended up in the clinic, all his self-confidence disappeared like tin in the ashes, and the safest place for him seemed to be the corner behind the toilet. This shows that a strange place and an unexpected situation can cause a pretty good fright in him. However, in his familiar environment, he is a different boy, curious, playful, and always ready to see what happens next. It is not yet clear how Marcel will behave with new guests. Maybe it won't take long for him to start looking for a suitable place in the guest's lap, but it's just as likely that he will initially prefer to keep an eye on the situation from behind a piece of furniture. Manni küla vahel oli üsna keeruline seda seltskonda mitte märgata. Kaks emast kassi ja kuus nende kannul jõlkuvat kassipoega moodustasid kokku paraja kassikaravani. Kui külarahvas hakkas pisikeste pärast rohkem muretsema, jõudsid kõik kuus poega koos ema ja vanaemaga lõpuks turvakoju. Üks nendest poegadest oli Marcel ja turvakodu seinte vahel selgus üsna kiiresti, et Marcelil ei ole mingit kavatsust ühestki põnevast tegemisest kõrvale jääda. Ta on alati seal, kus midagi toimub. Suletutile hüppab ta järele suure hooga ning õdede-vendadega müttab ringi seni, kuni mänguisu otsa saab. Kui inimesel tekib aga vaba hetk, on Marcel kohe kohal, ronib sülle ja ootab oma paiportsu, millele vastab valju nurrumisega. Kui pai liiga aeglaselt tulema hakkab, annab Marcel käpaga märku: „Halloo, ma tulin siia ikka kindla eesmärgiga!” Nii julge ja hakkaja nagu ta turvakodus paistab, ei ole Marcel igas olukorras sugugi. Kliinikusse sattudes oli kogu tema enesekindlus kadunud nagu tina tuhka ning kõige turvalisemaks paigaks tundus talle olevat hoopis vetsu tagune nurk. See näitab, et võõras koht ja ootamatu olukord võivad temas päris korraliku ehmatuse esile kutsuda. Oma tuttavas keskkonnas on ta aga hoopis teine poiss, uudishimulik, mänguhimuline ja alati valmis vaatama, mis järgmisena toimub. Kuidas Marcel uute külalistega käitub, pole veel päris teada. Võib-olla ei lähe tal kaua, kuni ta juba uurib külalise süles sobivat kohta, aga sama hästi võib juhtuda, et esialgu eelistab ta mõne mööblieseme tagant olukorral silma peal hoida.
