Rescued from a kill shelter in Romania, this brave little soul has waited a long time for his chance at a forever home, but he hasn’t given up hope. Having survived life on the streets and the many challenges that come with it, Marco has shown just how much of a fighter he truly is. Beneath his gentle nature is a resilient boy who deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and cherished. Marco is what we call a slow burner. He may need a little time to feel comfortable around new people, but once he learns to trust you, the bond you build will be something truly special. As his confidence grows, so does his beautiful personality, and he begins to show his affectionate side. At heart, Marco is a true lap dog who dreams of snuggling up close and enjoying plenty of gentle pets – he just needs to find the right lap, one he feels safe enough to trust. Watching Marco come out of his shell and discover the joy of companionship will be an incredibly rewarding experience for the person lucky enough to call him theirs.
