Marcy is a one-year-old cat who came to us with her kittens. The kittens are moving to their new homes soon, and Marcy is ready for her own new home. The busy life at the shelter is taking a toll on her, and she is still very shy around new people and needs time to build trust. We are looking for a quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. People who can offer her this patience will be rewarded with a cat who will thrive once she feels safe. She does not need to live with other cats. Marcy is vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for leukemia and FIV. She will be spayed before her adoption, likely mid-October. Der turbulente Alltag im Tierschutz setzt ihr zu: Marcy ist bei neuen Menschen noch sehr zurückhaltend und braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für sie ein ruhiges Zuhause, in dem sie in aller Ruhe ankommen und ihr Tempo selbst bestimmen darf. Menschen, die ihr diese Geduld schenken, werden mit einer Katze belohnt, die sicher aufblüht, sobald sie sich sicher fühlt. Mit anderen Katzen muss sie nicht zusammenleben.
