Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur

Unknown

Looking for some giant balls of fluff?! We have 5 gorgeous Lionhead cross babies looking for loving forever homes. There are 3 girls and 2 boys, and they are the result of an accidental litter. As rabbits are very social animals, we would like them to go as pairs, or to a home that already has a friendly resident rabbit that they can be bonded with. We want them to have a bunny companion and a loving home where they can be part of the family. They are all Lionhead crosses, although their coats and manes will vary. One of the little girls Edith doesn’t have a mane, making her a little different from her siblings. If you think you could offer one of these babies the right forever home, please fill out an enquiry form to register your interest. All rabbits need a set up space of at least 3 metres x 2 metres – day ☀️ & Night 🌙. Our rabbit adoption fee is £65.00, which includes: vaccinations, neutering & 4 weeks Petplan Insurance cover.

Frequently asked

Adopting Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Thornberry Animal Sanctuary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Thornberry Animal Sanctuary what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Thornberry Animal Sanctuary directly what is included and what Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur still needs.
What happens if Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Thornberry Animal Sanctuary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Margaret, Edith, Dorothy, Walter & Arthur and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
