Maak kennis met Marilyn Marilyn is een van die honden die stilletjes je hart steelt. Ze is een ongelooflijk lieve, zachtaardige en makkelijke meid die duidelijk niet de makkelijkste start in het leven heeft gehad, maar ondanks alles is ze zachtmoedig en liefdevol. Een van onze vrijwilligers ontmoette Marilyn tijdens een bezoek aan Montenegro, en haar droevige, soulvolle ogen maakten het onmogelijk om weg te lopen. Om haar veiligheid te garanderen, werd Marilyn naar het asiel gebracht, waar ze nu geduldig wacht op iets wat ze waarschijnlijk nog nooit heeft gehad: een echt thuis voor altijd. Marilyn is rustig, aanhankelijk en heerlijk rustig. Helaas heeft ze artritis in haar voorpoot, waardoor ze haar hele leven lang gewrichtssupplementen nodig heeft en mogelijk pijnbestrijding. Maar als ze goed in de gaten wordt gehouden en goed wordt verzorgd, is ze nog steeds een geweldige meid die zonder problemen kan lopen! Een gezellig huis, rustige wandelingen en veel liefde passen veel beter bij haar. Marilyn zou het goed doen bij iemand die een ontspannen metgezel waardeert en begrijpt dat de meest bevredigende liefdesverhalen soms de rustige zijn. Als u op zoek bent naar een trouwe, tedere ziel om uw leven mee te delen, dan is Marilyn misschien wel de perfecte match. Marilyn is gediagnosticeerd met leishmania, ze wordt momenteel behandeld en het gaat heel goed met haar. Met de juiste controle en zorg kan ze nog een lang en gelukkig leven leiden. We raden aan om elke 6-12 maanden bloedonderzoek te laten doen om te controleren of de ziekte inactief blijft. Als de ziekte actief wordt, heeft ze alleen tijdelijk medicatie nodig. Ze heeft misschien wat extra medische zorg nodig, maar deze lieve meid verdient een kans op een definitief thuis en ze zal het helemaal waard zijn! Bent u misschien het happy end waar Marilyn op heeft gewacht? Al onze dieren worden gecontroleerd door een erkende dierenarts voordat ze naar België reizen.
