Mario is a 9-year-old (born 01.08.2017) large and dignified tomcat who arrived at the shelter in August 2026 due to life's twists and turns. Mario takes all pets, scratches and cuddles with great joy. This is a cat who loves human closeness and can make your heart warm with his presence. However, Mario is currently undergoing treatment and his health needs to be monitored. The initial check-up at our clinic was a shock - Mario's blood sugar was as high as 35.62 mmol/L. However, the fructosamine, which reflects the longer-term blood sugar level, was still within the normal range, so diabetes cannot be confirmed at this time. Nevertheless, Mario's blood sugar needs to be monitored daily. There was also a lot of glucose in his urine, and the sample was sent for further tests. In the meantime, Mario is on special food and his food portions need to be carefully adjusted. Mario needs to know that someone is waiting for him somewhere. ❤️ He is worth a home where he is loved, cared for and his health is carefully monitored. PAIMAIAS MARIO UNISTAB OMA INIMESEST! Mario on 9-aastane (sündinud 01.08.2017) suur ja väärikas kassipoiss, kes jõudis elu keerdkäikude tõttu 2026. aasta augustis taas kassituppa. Mario võtab kõik paid, sügamised ja kaisutused suure rõõmuga vastu. Tegemist on kassiga, kellele inimese lähedus väga meeldib ja kes oskab oma olemisega südame soojaks teha. Praegu on Mario aga ravil ja tema tervisel tuleb silma peal hoida. Meie kliinikus tehtud esmane kontroll tõi kaasa suure ehmatuse – Mario veresuhkur oli lausa 35,62 mmol/L. Pikema aja veresuhkru näitu kajastav fruktosamiin oli siiski veel normi piires, mistõttu diabeeti praegu kinnitada ei saa. Küll aga tuleb Mario veresuhkrut igapäevaselt jälgida. Ka uriinis oli väga palju glükoosi ning proov saadeti täiendavatele uuringutele. Seniks saab Mario spetsiaalset toitu ning tema söögikogused tuleb hoolikalt paika panna.
