Marit is initially shy and cautious but quickly gets used to new people if she gets a few hours/days. She is a very loving cat who loves attention and ladies. I like to sleep next to one in bed and like to lie next to one on the couch. I love being clapped by the head, around the ears and under the chin. She likes to play and wants to throw balls at her so she can chase them. She also likes playing with cats under blankets, hiding them a little. However, she has become less playful now on older days and appreciates taking it easy on the couch. She is very jumpy and likes to jump up on big furniture, such as vitrine cabinets. Eating special food due to allergy. (Hills Prescription Diet, Z/D Food Sensitivites) Other food causes her to lick away fur from the stomach. “We don’t know if she’s going with young children, but she’s been with a family of children aged 10 and it went well. She’s a habit container and wants to continue to be. You can enjoy being out in the woods in leash but you are afraid of sudden sounds from unknown people and dogs. Marit and Alexandra have lived together for 10 years and are best friends who find great security in each other, so they want to live together. They don’t want to live with other cats or dogs. Marit är till en början blyg och försiktig men vänjer sig snabbt vid nya människor om hon får några timmar/dagar på sig. Hon är en väldigt kärleksfull katt som älskar uppmärksamhet och gos. Sover gärna bredvid en i sängen och tycker om att ligga bredvid en i soffan. Älskar att bli klappad vid huvudet, runt öronen och under hakan. Hon gillar att leka och vill att man ska kasta bollar åt henne så hon kan jaga dem. Hon gillar även att man leker med kattspön under filtar, gömmer dem lite. Hon har dock blivit mindre lekfull nu på äldre dar och uppskattar att ta det lugnt i soffan. Hon är väldigt hoppig och gillar att hoppa upp på stora möbler, exempelvis vitrinskåp. Äter specialfoder på grund av allergi. (Hills prescription diet, Z/d food sensitivites) Annat foder gör att hon slickar bort päls från magen. Vi vet inte om hon går ihop med små barn men hon har varit hos en familj med barn i 10 års ålder och det gick bra. Hon är en van innekatt och vill fortsätta vara det. Kan uppskatta att vara ute i skogen i koppel men är rädd för plötsliga ljud från okända människor och hundar. Marit och Alexandra har bott tillsamman i 10 år och är bästa vänner som finner stor trygghet i varandra, så de vill bo tillsammans livet ut. De vill inte bo med andra katter eller hundar. Marit har parodontit vilket gör att hon måste borsta tänderna regelbundet och gå till tandläkaren årligen. Hennes tandvård täcks inte av försäkringen. Inkom i jourhem 2026-02-23
