Mark

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 3 months

Mark - little polar bear is looking for his forever home 🏡✨ Approx. 3 months old (as of July 21, 2026) | friendly, playful like a puppy Also little Mark had no easy start in life. Together with his mom Pami and siblings he was rescued from a farm where his future seemed already sealed. 💔🐾 Our animal rights activist tried to have Pami spayed last year to prevent further suffering, but the owners refused. When Pami gave birth again, they didn't want to keep the little puppies and threatened to kill them. 😢 Fortunately our activist acted immediately. ❤️ She took the small family in her care and brought them to safety. There all animals were examined by a vet, lovingly cared for and could grow up without fear. 🩺🐾 Mark was of course examined by a vet, vaccinated and chipped. 🩺💉 With our activist he develops into a happy, playful and curious puppy. He loves playing with his siblings, exploring his surroundings and enjoying the attention of his caregivers. 🥰🎾 With his friendly and open nature Mark gets along very well with other dogs and meets people curiously and lovingly. Every day he discovers something new and grows into a confident little dog. 💙🐶 Of course, Mark still needs to learn the basics of being a dog. Housebreaking, walking on a leash and living in a house or apartment are still new for him. With patience, love and consistent, loving upbringing he will master all that step by step. 🐾📚 Until Mark is old enough for his big journey, he can grow up protected with our activist. Now he only needs the most important thing: a family of his own who gives him love, security and a safe home. ❤️🏡 Who will give little Mark the chance at a happy life and accompany him on his way to a wonderful future? 🐾💕 Mark is vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, not neutered yet and examined by a vet when he leaves. He has an EU pet passport. All our dogs travel with official Traces papers and Paragraph 11 permit to Germany. Our dogs are additionally tested for Mediterranean diseases via rapid test. The adoption fee is €500 plus €30 for the purchase of safety harness. Note: When we assign breeds, we orient ourselves exclusively on external appearance as well as observable behavior (phenotype). This applies: This assignment is made to the best knowledge and conscience of the association and the participating veterinarians. However, these information do not necessarily correspond to actual genetic makeup (genotype), because reliable determination would only be possible through a DNA analysis. In addition, the behavioral and character description of each animal is based on careful observations by local animal rights activists or caregivers. It should be noted that these assessments refer exclusively to the current local conditions in the shelters or foster homes. It is important to understand that the furry one will change after a successful

About Mark

What life with Mark looks like

Mark is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Rescued Souls e.V. in Pfinztal.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mark, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mark?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rescued Souls e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mark on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mark if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rescued Souls e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mark already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mark isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rescued Souls e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mark and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
