I didn't know if I could trust them. Now, I live in the animal shelter – and for the first time in my life, I can rest. Here, I learn a little bit each day that there are people who are kind to me. I am still a quiet and rather shy cat. I observe a lot, keep a little distance, and need my time. Petting? I still don't dare to do that. But I am working on it. Every day, I become a little braver. My trust is growing – slowly, but honestly. I wish for a home with patient, loving people who don't expect anything from me except that I can simply be myself. People who understand that trust must grow – like a delicate plant. If you give me time, I will give you my heart eventually. 💛 A quiet home without much chaos would be very helpful to me. Hallo… ich bin Marmelade. 🍊 Früher kannte ich das Leben nur draußen. Ich war eine Streunerin und musste mich allein durchschlagen. Menschen? Die waren für mich lange Zeit eher unheimlich als vertraut. Ich wusste ja nicht, ob ich ihnen trauen darf. Jetzt lebe ich im Tierheim – und zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben darf ich zur Ruhe kommen. Hier lerne ich jeden Tag ein kleines bisschen mehr, dass es Menschen gibt, die es gut mit mir meinen. Noch bin ich eine ruhige und eher scheue Katze. Ich beobachte viel, halte ein wenig Abstand und brauche meine Zeit. Streicheln? Das traue ich mich im Moment noch nicht. Aber ich arbeite daran. Jeden Tag werde ich ein kleines bisschen mutiger. Mein Vertrauen wächst – langsam, aber ehrlich. Ich wünsche mir ein Zuhause mit geduldigen, liebevollen Menschen, die nichts von mir erwarten, außer dass ich einfach ich sein darf. Menschen, die verstehen, dass Vertrauen wachsen muss – wie eine zarte Pflanze.
