Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Hi everyone, My name is Marshmellow! My Personality: I am a worried little soul, who is finding adjusting to cattery quite daunting. I was born to a feral mother, and have spent the first few months of my short life in a garage. The Staff here say they know that with a little time and patience, I will blossom into a wonderful kitten, and will make a fantastic companion. My Ideal Home: I would like a relatively calm home environment, with humans who will allow me to come out of my shell in my own time. I could live with sensible children aged 10+, who understand when to give me my space. I could live with another calm, confident cat or even a calm dog. Access to outdoors: Once I have fully settled in and I am little Bigger, I think I would like access to the outdoors. Although, if I have enough room and am given enough enrichment, I may just as happy being an indoor cat. Toileting: I am litter trained and currently prefer wood chip litter. My adoption fee is £185

About Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female

What life with Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female looks like

Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

Frequently asked

Adopting Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Marshmellow – 9 Week Old Female and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
