Mary * 2025 Mary was found in Niederzissen with her four kittens in a wooded area behind the waste management facility. She was half starved but still took excellent care of her little ones. We were able to secure the mother Mary and the three kittens after a night-long capture operation. Mary is now spayed, dewormed, and chipped. She is slowly settling into her new home, is still very anxious, and will need some time to adjust to her new home. But she is very social and could learn from a tame second cat that there are also loving people. Our caregivers are slowly getting close to her, but it will certainly be a long way for Mary to gain trust. Cat House Schalkenbach

Mary * 2025 Mary wurde in Niederzissen mit ihren vier Babys in einem Waldstück hinter dem Abfallwirtschaftsbetrieb gefunden. Sie war halb verhungert und kümmerte sich trotzdem hervorragend um ihre Kleinen. Die Mutter Mary und die drei Babys konnten wir nach nächtelangen Fangaktionen sichern. Mary ist jetzt kastriert, entwurmt und gechipt. Im neuen Cathome lebt sie sich langsam ein, ist noch sehr ängstlich und wird auch im neuen Zuhause eine Weile brauchen bis sie angekommen ist. Aber sie ist sehr sozial und könnte von einer zahmen Zweitkatze lernen, das es auch liebevolle Menschen gibt. Unsere Streichler kommen so langsam an sie heran, aber es ist sicherlich noch ein langer Weg bis Mary Vertrauen gefasst hat. Katzenhaus Schalkenbach
