May 2020 | 59cm | 26kg | Matouk, a male dog, was found by our animal welfare team at the Rhodos Matouk shelter. He was very underweight, infested with fleas and ticks, and in poor condition. 🥺 At the shelter, Matouk is very relaxed and not easily stressed by the commotion around him. He seeks human contact, greets everyone very friendly, and does not bark when other dogs play "who barks the loudest?" 😄 He enjoys human closeness and especially petting. He is also open and friendly to strangers and would love to crawl into their arms. 🐾💙 Even on a leash, the male dog shows his relaxed side! Sniffing and walking calmly around are his favorite activities. 😄 Matouk suffers from Leishmaniasis, a Mediterranean disease. Therefore, he currently has ear problems typical of the disease. He is currently receiving treatment and is generally well adjusted. We can of course clarify and discuss questions about Leishmaniasis individually. 😊 For Matouk, we are looking for people who like it quiet and are looking for a dog by their side who would rather spend the days with leisurely walks and cuddling. 😊🐾 PAW HEROES e.V. * Mai 2020 |59cm | 26kg | Tierheim Rhodos Matouk wurde damals von unseren Tierschützern gefunden und ins Shelter gebracht. Er war sehr abgemagert, voller Flöhe und Zecken und allgemein in keinem guten Zustand. 🥺 Im Shelter zeigt Matouk sich sehr entspannt und lässt sich von dem Trubel um sich herum nicht wirklich stressen. Er sucht die Nähe zu Menschen, begrüßt jeden sehr freundlich und bellt nicht, wenn alle anderen Hunde mal wieder „wer bellt am lautesten?“ spielen. 😄 Es genießt dann die Nähe und vorallem die Streicheleinheiten des Menschen. Auch fremden Menschen gegenüber begegnet er aufgeschlossen und freundlich und am liebsten würde Matouk in einen hinein krabbeln. 🐾💙 Auch an der Leine zeigt der Rüde sich von seiner entspannten Seite! Schnüffeln und ruhig durch die Gegend laufen gehören zu seinen Lieblingsbeschäftigungen. 😄 Matouk leidet an der Mittelmeerkrankheit Leishmaniose. Daher hat er derzeit auch Schwierigkeiten mit seinen Ohren, die typisch sind für die Krankheit. Derzeit bekommt Matouk eine Behandlung dagegen und allgemein ist er auch gut eingestellt. Fragen zum Thema Leishmaniose können wir selbstverständlich klären und individuell besprechen. 😊 Für Matouk wünschen wir uns Menschen, die es gerne ruhig haben und einen Hund an ihrer Seite suchen, der die Tage wohl am liebsten mit gemütlichen Spaziergängen, sowie Kuscheln verbringt. 😊🐾 PAW HEROES e.V.
