Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit

Mixed Breed · Male

Stella and more than a dozen kittens are searching for a new territory. Stella and several other young kittens are currently in our care and are desperately waiting for a home where they can live in freedom. These kittens still avoid contact with humans, and a farm or riding stable would be exactly the right home for the freedom-loving mouse catchers. The animals merely need a sleeping place (e.g., in a barn or shed), as well as people who will provide their daily food, not much pay for their daily work as mouse catchers. To get accustomed to their new home, the animals must be housed in a closed space for about three to four weeks and also be regularly fed here.

About Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit

What life with Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit looks like

Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at Dortmunder Katzenschutz e.V. in Dortmund.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dortmunder Katzenschutz e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dortmunder Katzenschutz e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dortmunder Katzenschutz e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mäusefänger suchen Anstellung auf Lebenszeit and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
