He hasn't had the best start in life, so he can find meeting new people a little worrying and may roll onto his back to show he's unsure. With time, kindness and a gentle approach, he soon starts to relax and lets his lovely personality shine through. He's previously lived with cats and even shared a bed with them, and he's currently living happily with another dog in foster. Building a strong bond with Max is really important and it's incredibly rewarding to watch his confidence blossom. Max is a sweet 4 year old Terrier looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue to build his confidence. Max is currently living with one of our wonderful foster carers, where he's making great progress. Once he knows you, he's affectionate, enjoys interacting with his people and will happily play as your relationship grows. Out on walks, he's generally happy to do his own thing and isn't overly bothered by other dogs. Max is looking for someone who will see the wonderful little dog he is and give him the time and love he deserves. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion with so much love to give. Max has had surgery on his back legs, and even though there is no after care since he has healed well, he will still need someone to consider this in the future.
