When we entered her kennel during our visit, she stayed in her hut while we interacted with the other dogs. The noise and stress at the shelter seem to affect the gentle MELINDA. When we turned to her, she joyfully welcomed the rare attention and came out of the hut. She clearly enjoyed the cuddles and seemed simply happy that someone had a little time and love for her. MELINDA can easily bear her deformed hind leg, but she does limp when walking. She doesn’t seem to have any pain, and during our last visit, her claws were even trimmed. MELINDA touched us with her loving nature, and we wish the accommodating mouse that she can soon leave this desolate place to spend the second half of her life worry-free and in security. Contact: Our dogs are vaccinated (rabies and 2x core vaccination), microchipped, and tested for common Mediterranean diseases: Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, leishmaniasis, Rickettsia, filariasis, hepatozoonosis, anaplasmosis. Als wir bei diesem Besuch ihren Kennel betraten, hielt sie sich zunächst in ihrer Hütte auf, während wir uns mit den anderen Hunden beschäftigten. Der Lärm und Stress vor Ort scheinen der sanften MELINDA zu Schaffen zu machen. Als wir uns ihr zuwandten, freute sie sich ganz rührend über die seltene Aufmerksamkeit und kam aus der Hütte. Sie genoss die Streicheleinheiten sichtlich und schien einfach froh, dass jemand kurz etwas Zeit und Liebe für sie hatte. MELINDA kann ihre deformierte Hinterpfote leicht belasten, doch sie hinkt beim Laufen. Schmerzen scheint sie keine zu haben und beim letzten Besuch wurden ihr sogar die Krallen geschnitten. MELINDA berührte uns mit ihrem liebevollen Wesen und wir wünschen der verträglichen Maus, dass sie diesen trostlosen Ort nun bald verlassen darf. Damit sie wenigstens die zweite Hälfte ihres Lebens ohne Sorgen und in Geborgenheit verbringen darf. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt. Wichtige Dokumente:Selbstauskunft für AdoptantenSelbstauskunft für Pflegestellen *Die Angaben zu den Hunden (insbesondere den Hunden, die noch in Rumänien sind) erfolgen ohne Gewähr. Die Erfassungen bilden nur Momentaufnahmen ab. Die Hunde wurden von freiwilligen Ehrenamtllichen nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen erfasst.
