Her story: The approximately 11-year-old Melinda dreams of a warm and loving home where she can spend some more beautiful years in peace. Currently, she lives in the public shelter of Baia Mare, where she feels very uncomfortable. The clever female dog has already managed to escape twice. Both life as a street dog and the overcrowded and noisy cage accommodation do not do Melinda any good, so we are looking for her a loving home as soon as possible. Melinda is a ca. 45 cm tall and ca. 18 kg light female dog. She has beautiful brown fur, a black back, and wonderful standing ears. Her dark round eyes look longingly into a better future. We cannot say much about her past, as with so many homeless street dogs. She is currently still a bit reserved and has to learn to get close to people. Nonetheless, she shows interest in the shelter staff, even though she keeps her distance. Medina gets along well with fellow animals of both genders in the shelter. Due to her appearance, we suspect German Shepherd genes in her. Her future family should therefore already be familiar with character-typical traits. Melinda has much more to look forward to than a lonely and sad life in a small cage in the shelter without mental stimulation and human affection. That is why we also try to find loving people for the cute female dog who want to take her into a real home, give her a warm dog bed, good food, and a lot of love. Of course, it would be perfect if we could find a forever home for the loving female dog right away, but even a foster home as a starting point for a new, better life would greatly help Melinda. Melinda travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with an EU pet passport to her new home. She is due to arrive on 28.10. Many thanks to Monika V., who gave Melinda her pretty name and thus a personal identity. A big thank you also goes to Sibylle H. and Daniela S., who both took on a monthly sponsorship for Melinda. Ihre Geschichte: Die ca. 11-jährige Melinda träumt von einem warmen und liebevollen Zuhause, in dem sie in Ruhe noch einige schöne Jahre verbringen kann. Aktuell lebt sie im öffentlichen Shelter von Baia Mare, in dem sie sich sehr unwohl fühlt. Schon zweimal gelang der klugen Hundedame die Flucht. Sowohl das Leben als Straßenhund als auch die überfüllte und laute Zwingerhaltung tut Melinda gar nicht gut, sodass wir schnellstmöglich für sie ein liebevolles Zuhause suchen. Melinda ist eine ca. 45 cm große und ca. 18 kg leichte Hündin. Sie hat hübsches braunes Fell, einen schwarzen Rücken und wundervolle Stehöhrchen. Ihre dunklen Knopfaugen schauen sehnsüchtig in eine bessere Zukunft. Über ihre Vergangenheit können wir, wie bei so vielen herrenlosen Straßenhunden, nichts sagen. Sie zeigt sich zurzeit noch etwas zurückhaltend und muss die Nähe zu Menschen erst noch lernen. Nichtsdestotrotz zeigt sie sich den Mitarbeiter*innen im Shelter gegenüber interessiert, auch wenn sie auf Abstand bleibt. Medina zeigt sich im Shelter gut verträglich mit Artgenossen beiden Geschlechts. Aufgrund ihres Aussehens vermuten wir bei ihr deutsche Schäferhundgene. Ihre zukünftige Familie sollte sich daher bereits mit charaktertypischen Eigenschaften auseinandergesetzt haben. Melinda hat viel mehr verdient als ein einsames und trauriges Leben in einem kleinen Zwinger im Shelter ohne Beschäftigung und menschliche Zuwendung. Deshalb möchten wir uns auch bemühen, möglichst bald tierliebe Menschen für die niedliche Hündin zu finden, die sie zu sich in ein richtiges Zuhause holen, ihr ein warmes Körbchen, gutes Futter und ganz viel Liebe schenken wollen. Natürlich wäre es perfekt, wenn wir gleich ein Für-Immer-Zuhause für die liebevolle Hundedame finden könnten, aber auch eine Pflegestelle als Starthilfe für ein neues, besseres Leben würde Melinda sehr helfen. Melinda reist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in ihr neues Zuhause. Sie wird nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine verminderte Schutzgebühr von 325 Euro vermittelt. Vielen Dank an Monika V.,die Melinda ihren hübschen Namen und damit eine eigene Identität geschenkt hat.
