Melody is a shy, loving, gentle, and sensitive 5-year-old small dog, standing at 44 cm tall, who is just knee-high to adults. She arrived at the shelter in May with her puppies, who have since found homes. Melody is still waiting for someone to find her the right family. Melody has probably not had much good in her life. She has deep scars in her little soul and needs a lot of time, patience, and understanding to build trust in a person. She has probably lived on the streets for a long time and learned to be always vigilant and take care of her family. It was certainly not her first litter. Always looking for a safe place, always mindful of protecting her puppies, a life that has left its mark. At the shelter, Melody is slowly making progress. She shows her loving and sensitive side cautiously to people she knows. Unfamiliar people, however, make her very afraid. Then she quickly retreats to her hut and just wants to be left alone. Melody is not a dog that immediately runs joyfully to her humans. She needs someone who gives her the time she needs and who does not expect anything from her. Someone who understands that trust does not come overnight and that small steps are already great successes for Melody. We wish Melody a quiet, patient home with a securely fenced garden, where she can arrive at her own pace. People with empathy who give her security and show her that she no longer has to fight and be on her guard. Maybe Melody will never be a dog that unreservedly approaches every person. But we are convinced that she has a lot of love inside her that she has not been able to show so far. Whoever gives Melody time could give her the most valuable thing she has hardly been able to experience so far: a safe home and the feeling of finally being there. schüchtern, lieb, verträglich, sensibel Melody ist etwa 5 Jahre alt und mit ihren 44 cm eine kleine Hündin, die einem gerade einmal bis unters Knie reicht. Im Mai kam sie gemeinsam mit ihren Welpen zu uns. Ihre Kleinen haben inzwischen alle ein Zuhause gefunden nur Melody wartet noch darauf, dass auch für sie jemand die richtige Familie findet. Melody hat in ihrem Leben vermutlich nicht viel Gutes erfahren. Sie hat tiefe Risse in ihrer kleinen Seele und braucht sehr viel Zeit, Geduld und Verständnis, um Vertrauen zu einem Menschen aufzubauen. Vermutlich hat sie lange auf der Straße gelebt und dabei gelernt, immer wachsam zu sein und für ihre Familie zu sorgen. Es war sicherlich nicht ihr erster Wurf. Immer auf der Suche nach einem sicheren Ort, immer darauf bedacht, ihre Welpen zu schützen ein Leben, das Spuren hinterlassen hat. Im Tierheim macht Melody inzwischen ganz kleine Fortschritte. Bei Menschen, die sie kennt, zeigt sie vorsichtig ihre liebe und sensible Seite. Unbekannte Menschen machen ihr dagegen noch große Angst. Dann zieht sie sich schnell in ihre Hütte zurück und möchte einfach nur ihre Ruhe haben. Melody ist keine Hündin, die sofort freudig auf ihre Menschen zuläuft. Sie braucht jemanden, der ihr die Zeit lässt, die sie braucht, und der nichts von ihr erwartet. Jemanden, der versteht, dass Vertrauen nicht von heute auf morgen entsteht und kleine Schritte bei Melody bereits große Erfolge sind. Für Melody wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges, geduldiges Zuhause mit einem sicher eingezäunten Garten, in dem sie in ihrem eigenen Tempo ankommen darf. Menschen mit Einfühlungsvermögen, die ihr Sicherheit geben und ihr zeigen, dass sie nun nicht mehr kämpfen und auf der Hut sein muss. Vielleicht wird Melody niemals eine Hündin sein, die unbeschwert auf jeden Menschen zugeht. Aber wir sind überzeugt, dass in ihr ganz viel Liebe steckt, die sie bisher einfach noch nicht zeigen konnte. Wer Melody Zeit schenkt, könnte ihr das Wertvollste geben, was sie bisher kaum kennenlernen durfte: ein sicheres Zuhause und das Gefühl, endlich angekommen zu sein. sind alle geimpft, gechipt und haben einen EU-Ausweis.
