Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

Colour: Black/Grey/White Vaccinated Neutered Microchipped Flea and Worm Treatment 5 Weeks FREE Agria Insurance Meet Merlot, Grenache, Pinot, and Grigio – Four Gorgeous Female Rabbits Looking for a New Home These four lovely rabbits are in search of a new home due to their owners’ house move. They’ve been well looked after, are very friendly, and would make wonderful companions. Each rabbit has a unique personality and would be happy to live together or in pairs, depending on your preferences. Merlot (black rabbit) Grenache (grey rabbit) Pinot (black and white rabbit) Grigio (all white rabbit, mother to the other three) Merlot, Grenache, and Pinot are all around 3 years old. Grigio, the all-white rabbit, is 4 years old and is the loving mother of the three younger rabbits. These rabbits have been kept outdoors and are used to being housed in a hutch with a secure run, ideally with a sheltered area for winter nights. They’ll thrive in a similar outdoor setup in their new home. All together – They have a strong bond and would love to stay together if possible. Split into pairs – If you’re looking to adopt just two, we suggest rehoming Merlot and Grenache together, and Pinot and Grigio together. All four are very friendly and enjoy human interaction. They’re used to being gently handled and would make great pets for anyone with space for a hutch and run. If you can offer any of these beautiful rabbits a loving, secure home, please get in touch. They are ready to hop into a new chapter of their lives with you! If you would like to apply to adopt Merlot, Grenache, Pinot, and/or Grigio please complete an application form and we will be in touch to arrange a home check. About Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio

What life with Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio looks like

Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio is a adult mixed breed rabbit waiting at Saving Strays Animal Rescue in United Kingdom.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Saving Strays Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Saving Strays Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most rabbits on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Saving Strays Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Merlot, Grenache, Pinot and Grigio and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
