Merope, a medium-to-large-sized mixed-breed dog born in August 2020, is a sweet soul who deserves a loving family of her own. She gets along well with both male and female dogs. Despite her initial wariness toward strangers, Merope allows herself to be approached and gently petted. It’s clear that she simply needs time and patience to build trust and open her heart. She’s not yet familiar with a leash, so it will be necessary to teach her how to walk on one. By helping Merope overcome her fears and fully trust humans, you’ll experience the joy of watching her blossom and transform into a loyal and joyful companion. Merope needs a patient and loving family—one that gives her the time she needs to settle in and welcomes her with warmth and understanding, providing her with a peaceful environment where she can feel protected and safe. Walks, games, and cuddles will help her conquer her fears and forge a deep bond with whoever chooses to adopt her. She’s currently at a private, affiliated shelter in Basilicata, and we’re able to place her either in Lazio or in northern Italy, following the appropriate pre-adoption checks. Merope, meticcetta di taglia medio grande, nata nell’agosto 2020, è una dolce creatura che ha bisogno di una famiglia tutta sua. Va d’accordo con gli altri cani sia maschi sia femmine. Nonostante la sua iniziale diffidenza verso gli estranei, Merope si lascia avvicinare e accarezzare con delicatezza. È evidente che ha solo bisogno di tempo e pazienza per fidarsi e aprire il suo cuore. Non conosce il guinzaglio e occorre insegnarle a camminarci. Aiutando Merope a superare le sue paura e a fidarsi pienamente degli umani, potrai vivere l’emozione di vederla sbocciare e trasformarsi in una compagna fedele e gioiosa.
