Was sie besonders macht, ist ihre Geschichte: Sie wurde mit einer schweren Augenverletzung gefunden, vermutlich durch einen Schlag verursacht. Auf einem Auge ist ihr Sehvermögen eingeschränkt – das andere funktioniert gut. Und trotzdem: Merylin kommt damit wunderbar zurecht. Sie orientiert sich sicher, bewegt sich problemlos und zeigt jeden Tag, dass sie sich davon nicht aufhalten lässt. Für Merylin wünschen wir uns ein eher ruhiges Zuhause – gerne am Stadtrand oder ländlich gelegen.
