The story of MESI is very sad. This poor cat, about 5 years old, was abandoned on the street by what he believed was his family, at the doorstep of his home, watching him deteriorate day by day in the hope that he would die. He was waiting for them to open the door to what had been his home... Because of his condition, Mesi is sick and hurt, and while those people have gotten rid of what they saw as a problem without feeling any remorse, we are fighting alongside him to give him a dignified and normal life. Fortunately, the biopsies have ruled out a tumor, but it is an immunomediated issue, so his control will require time and care.

La historia de MESI es muy triste. Este pobre gato de unos 5 años, fue abandonado en la calle por la que él creía su familia, a las puertas de su hogar, viéndolo deteriorarse día tras día a la espera de que muriese. Él esperaba a que le abrieran las puertas del que había sido su hogar tiempo antes... Por su culpa, Mesi está enfermo y dolorido, y mientras esa gente se ha quitado 'un problema de encima' y no siente remordimientos, nosotros estamos luchando junto a él para que pueda volver a tener una vida digna y normal. Afortunadamente las biopsias han descartado el proceso tumoral, pero se trata de un problema inmunomediado, por lo que su control va a requerir de tiempo y cuidados.
