How do I contact the shelter about Mica?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rescued Souls e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mica on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Mica if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rescued Souls e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Mica already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Mica isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rescued Souls e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mica and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Mica

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

Mica, a small, friendly and playful puppy, was found alone with her three siblings in a green area by the side of the road. She is approximately 3 months old (as of September 28, 2026). Mica is looking for her forever home. 🏡🐶 Mica is a very open and friendly little dog. She is curious and approaches people with confidence. She also gets along well with other dogs and is social and uncomplicated. 🐶🐾💗 As is typical for a small puppy, Mica still has a lot to discover and learn. She needs to learn the basics of dog training, how to be house trained, how to walk on a leash, and all the many small and big adventures of life. 🐶🎓 We are looking for a loving family for Mica who will show her patience, time and understanding, and show her how beautiful a home can be. People who will accompany her, learn with her and give her all the love she has been missing. ❤️ Who wants to show Mica that her life can be full of love, security and beautiful adventures from now on? 🏡💗🐾 Mica is vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, not yet spayed, and has a veterinary check-up. She has an EU pet passport. All our dogs travel with official Traces papers and Paragraph 11 approval to Germany. Our dogs are also tested for Mediterranean diseases with a rapid test. The adoption fee is €520 plus €30 for the purchase of a safety harness. Note: When we assign our dogs to certain breeds, we are guided solely by their external appearance and observable behavior (phenotype). This classification is made to the best of the association's knowledge and the participating veterinarians. However, these details do not necessarily correspond to the actual genetic makeup (genotype), as this can only be reliably determined by a DNA analysis. In addition, the behavioral and character description of the respective animal is based on careful observations by the animal rescuers on site or by the respective foster families. It should be noted that these assessments are based solely on the current local conditions in the shelters or foster homes. It is important to understand that the puppy may change after a successful

About Mica

What life with Mica looks like

Mica is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Rescued Souls e.V. in Pfinztal.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.
