Michú

Female · Young · 3 years

Description Michú was rescued in very poor condition, dehydrated and with very affected eyes (very advanced ulcers), but responded very well to treatment and we were able to save her. Currently we are treating her eyes again to solve her recurring problem of blocked tear ducts. She is treated without complaining, she is very pleasant and very manageable. Very affectionate and outgoing, very fun, she loves human contact. She gets along well with cats, so it would be perfect for a home where there is already a feline friend of similar age to play and be happy together or the joint adoption with her sister Lia. It is usually recommended to adopt two cats, especially if they already know each other and get along as they do. We explain why: If you adopt a single cat, she will get bored while you are not at home... During holidays she is alone... On weekends if you go out, also. Therefore, although we can love and care for them, they need another (or others) of their species to have a full life. When they are together, they will never get bored, they will have better health and their humans will have double the love. If you would like to adopt them and want more information without any commitment, contact us!

About Michú

What life with Michú looks like

Michú is a young adult cat waiting at CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Michú, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Michú?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Michú on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Michú if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Michú already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Michú isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Michú and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
