How do I contact the shelter about Tobias?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tobias on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Tobias if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Tobias already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Tobias isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tobias and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Tobias

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Tobias is looking for someone to teach him that he no longer has to be afraid. He is affectionate, handsome, and has a huge heart. He was rescued in an emergency. It was dangerous to leave him on the street for even one more day... His rescue was unplanned, but on this day we almost hit him ourselves. He crossed our path asking for help. And we stopped. His story: In December, Tobias was "one more" in our CER program. A kitten who went unnoticed. Until a few weeks ago he started asking for affection. Rubbing against us. Crying. Something told us: "this one deserves a chance." And life wanted to help: hours before we had picked up a carrier: a farewell gift from another furry friend who went to heaven &;. We were taking it in the car. Thanks to that we could rescue him. Thanks Toby, wherever you are. You helped a companion from the other side. Rest in peace, beautiful... Tobias behaved like a champion on the way. He let himself be taken blood, tested and vaccinated. Result: FIV+ He has antibodies. The load is so low that it indicates that he was only in contact with the virus. He has no symptoms. And with a stress-free life and well cared for, FIV+ and "healthy" is the same. Tobias is super friendly. He gets along great with other cats, he could even live with negatives if they have good character like him. Now he just needs to learn something new: living in a home. Everything still seems strange to him. He needs patience and affection. He's sure he'll love being the king of his house. *COMES READY:* ✅ Neutered ✅ FIV+ test: Only antibodies, no symptoms ✅ FeLV test: Negative ✅ Vaccinated ✅ Dewormed ✅ Microchip

Descripción TOBIAS BUSCA ALGUIEN QUE LE ENSEÑE QUE YA NO TIENE QUE TENER MIEDO. A restregarse. A llorar.

About Tobias

What life with Tobias looks like

Tobias is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.
