Il est très joueur mais aussi très réactif et ne doit pas être soumis à trop d'excitation.Il sait se montrer affectueux mais avec son unique maître, et sera facile à vivre si on lui accorde cette exclusivité. Il ne donnera sa confiance qu'à un seul membre de la famille. En société, une petite muselière est nécessaire pour éviter tout accident : Mickey n'attaque pas mais il ne faut pas qu'il soit caressé par n'importe qui, même si ça petite bouille en donne très envie !
