Mickey is a 10-year-old male Shih Tzu mix. He arrived at the shelter with his friend Lucky, as their owner unfortunately found herself without housing. Mickey is an adorable, affectionate, and very food-loving dog. He is a calm and pleasant companion who enjoys both walks and long naps. He likes his peace and quiet and his little comforts, which is why we will prioritize a home with children over 8 years old who respect his needs and space. Mickey is currently overweight and will need a suitable diet to help him gradually regain a more balanced weight. He also has several benign lipomas. He can get along with other dogs if introductions are positive, although he tends to want to take the lead. He does not show any particular reaction towards the cats in the shelter. Mickey can live in a house or apartment, as long as the accommodation is stair-free. He is now looking for a gentle and caring family who will offer him a quiet life, punctuated by beautiful walks and plenty of rest.

Mickey est un mâle de type Shih Tzu âgé de 10 ans. Il est arrivé au refuge avec son copain Lucky, leur propriétaire s’étant malheureusement retrouvée sans logement. Mickey est un chien adorable, affectueux et très gourmand. C’est un loulou calme et agréable, qui apprécie autant les promenades que les longues siestes. Il aime avoir sa tranquillité et son petit confort, c’est pourquoi nous privilégierons un foyer avec des enfants de plus de 8 ans, respectueux de ses besoins et de son espace. Mickey est actuellement en surpoids et devra bénéficier d’une alimentation adaptée afin de l’aider à retrouver progressivement un poids plus équilibré. Il présente également plusieurs lipomes qui sont bénins. Il peut s’entendre avec d’autres chiens si les présentations sont positives, même s’il a tendance à vouloir prendre le dessus. Il ne montre pas de réaction particulière envers les chats du refuge. Mickey pourra vivre aussi bien en maison qu’en appartement, à condition que le logement soit sans escaliers. Il recherche aujourd’hui une famille douce et attentionnée, qui saura lui offrir une vie tranquille, rythmée par de belles balades et beaucoup de repos.
