Midnatt

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 4 months

Meet Midnatt - a little charmer with long legs and lots of personality! 🖤 There are probably not many little boy cats that are more athletic and elegant than Midnatt! This beautiful 4-month-old boy has long legs, an impressive long tail and his own way of strolling into the room. But behind the elegant exterior is also a lovely little clown who likes to chase after bouncy balls and pipe cleaners. Once the game is on, it's not always easy to keep track of all the long legs! 😻 Midnatt is a curious, active and playful little guy who loves to be where the action is. He likes to follow what's going on around him and rarely says no to a fun game of wrestling with his siblings. With Midnatt in the house, it's guaranteed to be full of life, laughter and entertainment! Although Midnatt likes to come over to say hello, he's currently more interested in exploring the world than spending long hours on his lap. Cuddling is nice, but there's so much exciting to do! The foster home still has a little suspicion that he's actually a real cuddly cat inside - he just hasn't discovered it yet. When he's tired and relaxing, they take the opportunity to give him lots of love and cuddles. ❤️

About Midnatt

What life with Midnatt looks like

Midnatt is a small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Dyreneshus Oslo in Oslo.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇳🇴Adopting from Norway

Norwegian rescues require thorough background checks. Animals leave with a Nordic pet passport and full vetting. Norway is outside the EU so import rules differ slightly — TRACES applies.

Frequently asked

Adopting Midnatt, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Midnatt?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dyreneshus Oslo handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Midnatt on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Midnatt if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dyreneshus Oslo will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Midnatt already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Midnatt isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dyreneshus Oslo early rather than rehoming privately; they know Midnatt and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
